  1. Practice Period.
All NEW hosts must participate in a scheduled two week practice period. This allows the host to learn the ins and outs of hosting before becoming an official host. During this practice period, hosts are limited to two games per week. Once practice hosting has been completed to the sponsor's satisfaction, more games may be added to the schedule with sponsor approval. During the practice period, a host may NOT host event or impromptu games, nor do any substitute hosting.

Your appointed Sponsor will explain the Prize Support Guidelines. Practice hosts will be given a set that includes Door Prizes only. The host is to set aside 3 of those prizes prior to the game to use as *Place Prizes*. The rest of the prizes are to be raffled during the game as Door Prizes. Once the practice period is complete, you will be given regular sets that include the Place Prizes as well.

  2. Returning Hosts.
Returning hosts who left in good standing will have a two-week *re-orientation* period during which they are limited to two games per week. After two weeks, more games may be added to the schedule, with sponsor approval. Returning hosts may do event and impromptu games, as well as substitute hosting. Returning hosts will be given regular prize sets, even during re-orientation.

  3. Announcing Game Rules.
Hosts are requested and expected to announce all rules governing their game at the start of the game. These rules should include an explanation of the scoring system for the game and how winners are determined. If a host chooses to make Place Prize winners ineligible for Door Prizes or limit players to one main prize per game (in non-scoring games such as Bingo), this must also be stated in the game rules, and re-stated before Door Prizes are drawn. Additionally, if a host does not use a separate Door Prize draw program, hosts must explain to those in the locale how to register for door prizes.

  4. Host's Choice Games.
Any host who chooses to have a "Host's Choice" hour on the schedule must choose and announce the game at the beginning of the hour. Once chosen the game should not be changed during that session. Additionally, the schedule must be consulted before EVERY game to determine what regular games are on the schedule for that hour. Any regular game on the schedule is ineligible to be used as a Host's Choice game during that same hour. Monthly games may *NOT* be Host's Choice.

  5. Prizes Distribution.
Typically, prize sets will consist of 3 Place Prizes and 4 Door Prizes (Event games may have more). Door Prizes are the ONLY prizes that may be raffled. Under no circumstances are Place Prizes *EVER* to be raffled in a sponsored game.  All Place Prizes *MUST* be given out as Winner's Choice; 1st Place choosing first, 2nd Place second and so on.  For games like Bingo, those should be either player's choice or use box color.

Anyone who registers for the Door Prize raffle is eligible, whether they played the game or not. However, a host may choose not to allow main prize winners to be eligible for Door Prizes. If this is the case, the Host must announce it at the beginning of the game and again before drawing Door Prizes.

When handing out door prizes, a host should either hold the prize to be raffled in hand BEFORE drawing a winner name...OR...let the winner pick from available prizes/prize boxes. A host should NEVER select a prize from his/her pocket AFTER drawing a name, as this can put the host in a position for accusations of unfairness, favoritism, etc.

  6. Free Games and Donations.
All sponsored games on the schedule must be FREE games, meaning there is not token fee for players to enter the game. NO pay rounds may be mixed in during a sponsored game.

Tokens may ONLY be accepted during a game for a Jackpot. Donating to any jackpot is entirely voluntary, and under no circumstances is a donation a requirement for winning a jackpot. ALL players are eligible for any available jackpot, whether they donated or not.
No token exchange should take place in any round with the exception of jackpot donations.

  7. Locking Turfs & Late Registrations.
Hosts are *NOT* to lock turfs while a sponsored game is being hosted in the turf. Further, hosts are not to disallow registrations at any point in a sponsored game. All players should have the opportunity to participate as much as possible at the time they arrive. While latecomers will obviously not share the same advantages as players who arrive on time (ie...not as many turns/rounds etc), they can still participate in remaining rounds and door prize drawings.

  8. Multi-Tasking.
A host is not permitted to participate as a player in any games while hosting. However, if a host finishes hosting their game in time to join another game already in progress, they may do so.

It is further requested that when hosting, a host not have any alts logged in, parked, etc. This can cause disruptions and confusion at games.

  9. Sponsored Hosts and Name Changes.
A host may only use their sponsored avatar(s) for hosting...either at their own game or for subbing another host's game. Use of an unsponsored alt avi for hosting any sponsored game (including impromptu games) is not permitted.

A host may not change the name of their sponsored host avatar unless a name change has been requested through their sponsor...AND the host has received verification from their sponsor that the necessary changes to the schedule have been made (usually this will be the following week). A temporary name change is fine so long as the name is changed back before hosting. Hosts should be hosting with the avi who is listed on the schedule for a particular game at *ALL* times.

  10. Disruptive Players.
If a player disrupts a host's game, the host should first page a Citizen to help deal with the disruptive player. If no staff is available to help, and the disruption continues, the host reserves the right to remove the player from the CURRENT game only. If a player is removed from a game, text and screen shots MUST be saved and e-mailed to your sponsor. If the disruption continues, your sponsor may contact the Games Consigliere. If no resolution can be reached, the World Managers may also be consulted. In all cases, text and screen shots MUST be obtained and sent to involved staff members. Any decisions reached by the World Managers will be FINAL.

  11. Hosting in Public Locales.
Avatars who are parked in a public locale where a game is being hosted will not be ghosted unless space is needed for players who MUST be on the ground in order to play the game (i.e. rollers for Even Bet). As a host, you should not allow your players to abuse parked avatars in your game locale.

  12. Winners Forms.
It is the host's responsibility to fill out the Winner's Form after every game. Failing to do this could be perceived as a missed game. Excessive missed games could result in a suspension or removal of hosting privileges.

  13. Leave Of Absence (LOA).
It is the host's responsibility to show for their scheduled game(s). If you know in advance that you will miss a game, you should notify your sponsor ASAP so that they can make arrangements to put you on LOA status. Approved Leave of Absences are not counted against your attendance. If you have a real-world emergency and are unable to notify your sponsor ahead of time, please let them know that you missed your game as soon as you get back in world. The Maximum LOA is 3 weeks in a row. Beyond that you will be removed from the game schedule. Upon your return, you can be put back on the schedule, but might have to choose a new time or day.

If you are absent 3 times without getting an approved LOA, your hosting status will be reviewed and you could be put on a forced LOA and/or temporarily suspended from hosting.

It is also encouraged that you find a replacement host to fill in for you. All replacement hosts must be active sponsored hosts. Consult your Sponsor regarding provision of prizes for a replacement host.

  14. Sub-Hosting.
If a host is a no-show for a scheduled game, any other SPONSORED host may sub for them. Sub-hosts should page a Citizen to acquire prizes for the subbed game. If there is no Citizen available to get prizes, the sub-host should note this in the comments section of the Winners Form, so that prizes may be given to them later for distribution to the winners.

If there is a no-show and there is no sub-host who can sub that exact game, the game type may be changed so that a sub-host may fill in. Please note: If a monthly game is subbed, the points may not be used toward the monthly scores if a game different from the one listed on the schedule is hosted (i.e. if the regular host does Bingo as a monthly game and the sub host does Slots, then points earned for that game cannot count toward a player's overall monthly score).

If a no-show game is hosted in a private turf and no other sponsored host has access to it, a sub-host can advertise at that elevator lobby that the game will be moved to the locale the sub-host specifies. The sub-host must give the original host at least 10 minutes to arrive, then stand at elevator lobby for 5 minutes advertising the locale change. Please note: this is ONLY for games listed in turfs, not games already listed in public locales. A game scheduled in a public locale should remain in that locale, even if a sub hosts it.

  15. Hoster Problems.
If a hoster breaks down or for some reason a host is unable to continue hosting his/her game, another sponsored host may take over. However, the original host is not allowed to play his/her own game and win prizes for ANY reason. It should be noted that another host took over in the Comments section of the Winners Form.

  16. Make-up Games
If, for any reason a host can not make their scheduled game, they may not hold a replacement game at a later unscheduled time. Impromptu games will NOT serve as "make-ups".

  17. Restricted Locales.
Hosting will not be allowed in Vanilla Village, Lakeside View, or any other locale where parking and/or nudity is not allowed.

  18. Setting the Example.
Sponsored Hosts are expected to follow all of Seducity's policies in regards to hosting, as well as the Terms of Service (TOS). Hosts are also expected to remind players to adhere to the Terms of Service when answering questions during games. Any violation of the Terms of Service may result in suspension of hosting privileges.

Furthermore, a sponsored host shall refrain from the following:
    - Patch use of any kind.
    - Misappropriation, giving away, or selling of prizes.
    - Falsification of Winners Forms.
    - Failure to protect players from harassment.
    - Misbehavior or disruption of another Host's game.
